About me

You can rest assured, I'm not going to narrate the 3 decades of my existence in an autobiography kind of page that would probably take you a week and a half to read. (Although it could become very interesting at times).
However since you are here, you might as well hang a while and get to know me better.

For starters, I was born on the 9th of November 1972 in Jal Eddib, Lebanon.
"For those who just arrived on the planet: Lebanon is on the eastern side of the Mediterranean, and Jal eddib is a village in northern suburbs of Beirut (that would be the capital)"
My parents are Michel Romanos and Jeanine Nader.

As did a lot of Lebanese when the war started in the early 70's. My family got out of the country at a time when I could hardly spell my name. And after a brief period in France, we came back to Lebanon.
As you can imagine, school was the next step. Well I was soon admitted to the "College Sacré Coeur" school at Gemayzeh, Beirut. I then moved on to the "College Mont La Salle" . I finally graduated in elementary math and received the state baccalaureat in 1990.
In 1995
i graduated from ESIB "Ecole supérieure d'ingénieurs de Beyrouth" with a degree in civil/structural engineering. My membership in the Lebanese Order of Engineers is # 18774.

My work was mainly based in lebanon for the first years although i had to travel overseas to Africa for some of my main projects. In 2003 i moved to the UK to work with a consultancy firm called Buro Happold. But after a short stay in Bath i moved back to lebanon and got engaged in December 2004 to my lovely wife Sandra. We got married on July 24th 2005. By that time i was working in Dubai with a french firm called Frame & Associates.

We are now residing in Dubai, and we are expecting our first child.
